Empowering Creativity: NFTs and Blockchain Transform Creative Industries

The Pixel - NFTs for Cultural and Creative Industries project is a Small Scale Cooperation Partnership in the vocational education and training sector (KA210-VET) funded under the Erasmus+ Programme. The goal is to support the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs) in seizing new opportunities presented by digital transformation and blockchain technology.

As Europe continues to evolve, CCIs must adapt to these changes, unlocking new business possibilities and expanding their global reach. Blockchain technology offers a powerful tool to enhance innovation, drive business growth, and increase resilience within these industries. Specifically, NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) have transformed how creators protect their intellectual property, offering fairer profit distribution and simplifying payment processes.

NFTs allow creators to mint, copyright, and sell their work on open marketplaces easily. They also facilitate a thriving resale market, where creators can continue to earn income whenever their work is resold, making NFTs an essential tool for building a sustainable business model in the digital age.
